You can’t include anything that could appear discriminatory against race, gender, age, or disability unless there is a Genuine Occupational Requirement, which is supported in the job description.
For example, you can specify ‘female youth worker required’ to work with a group of young girls, and you can specify ‘must be fit and able-bodied’ for a church caretaker. You cannot, however ask for a ‘minimum of 10 years experience’ as this discriminates against younger applicants.
